The best of the Honeymoon

The honeymoon was of course incredible.  Anytime you fly south in this country the air changes ...the mood changes...time slows down to a trickle...serenity is a good word for it.  We moved to snail pace on our honeymoon.  No plans, no shirt, no shoes...just flip flops.  It was wonderful.

I held a monkey by the pool one day.  I bought a white beautiful big hat.  Daniel got sunburnt.  We took lots of naps under the cabinanas and just relaxed.  We went to a bull fight...romantic huh, it really was a great day nontheless.

Here take a rondevous through our best honeymoon pictures:

Finally

Last Saturday I bid my "good-bye" to Pfeiffer University...

I am thankful for the journey, for the knowledge, for the change, and challenges...I am very thankful for the Lord taking me there and bringing me through.  It is truly only by his grace.

My Muse

You might think it is funny that people have muses.  You might not even believe there is such a thing.  However, there is a wonderful book I read a few years back that said if you need to write, then you must write.  It was called, "Letters to a Poet".  It was a great read and a wonderful source of quotes and encouragement.

Since I have been finished with school and have some extra time on my hands I have once again found my muse.  I find myself thinking and reading more of the things that interest me because I don't have a text book, test, papers, or any thing else distracting me.  Actually it's been wonderful because I have been able to put time and attention and heart into reading the Word again.  This has been a huge blessing.  However, part of my muse is because I have a new writing spot.  I told you the other day about our rocking chairs we bought but here it is...my writing spot.

The air is perfect tonight and the lawn was mowed today.  It was a perfect day and here I am rocking and writing on the laptop.  I couldn't be happier.
