Focus out
We focus on the inward so much. We focus on questions like: "what do I want?", "who am I?", "How will this affect me?". We focus on self help and renewal experiences. We love to talk about what is going on in MY life, but we forget to focus out. We forget to LISTEN to other people.
In My Shoes

Have you walked in my shoes? Through my eyes has not been something I have spent too much time on since I started this blog. However, I would like to start giving you glances at the perceptions I take in on a weekly basis. Everyone wears there own shoes. Sometimes, especially with girls, we share shoes but no one will ever walk in YOUR shoes. They have not been in the exact place and time that you have stood throughout your entire life. I have missed things in life that others have not. I have experienced things that others have not experienced in the same way. The effects that our perceptions have on us is deep. However, underneath each shoe there is a sole...a sole that connects each of us to the same ground. A ground that each has tredded upon. And because of this even my perceptions can be connected to by your perceptions.
So, as we start 2006...come take a walk in my shoes. If the shoe doesn't fit please come put your foot prints beside mine...
Car Alarm
Sitting in church one Sunday I was distracted by a car alarm going off in the parking lot. I should have been taking notes on the sermon but the car alarm inspired thought…and this I had to write down…come be distracted!
